Towers of Rosasco
Built in the late 9th century, the Rosasco Castle suffered severe damage in 1630 due to French forces, followed by the complete demolition of its walls in 1643 by the Savoy militia. Today, only two towers remain from the ancient complex, both in excellent condition. The majestic Torre del Consegno, named for its role during the Napoleonic period in recruiting local youths, dominates the eastern side of the town square. Additionally, there is the tall and slender Torrione Ghibellino, characterized by its unusual rectangular plan, rising 25 meters in the highest part of the historic center. From its summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of Rosasco and the surrounding area.
